DAY 7: Carthage Jail

The bullet hole in the door through which Hyrum was hit

The staircase (in it's original form) that was used by the mob to enter the second story room

Learned that Carthage was the first historical site purchased by the church and that the missionary couple who restored it to it's original form served for 20 years including time as the first tour guides

DAY 7: Parley Street

DAY 6: Nauvoo Pageant

We are thinking of coming back and participating in the pageant in 2014 if anyone is interested in joining us. Two week commitment.

Was raining pretty heavily until right before the pageant started and then all of the sudden clears up. Really cooled off the night
